Hi, I’m Ellen.
I’m a registered Acupuncturist and Chinese Medicine Practitioner (BHSc Acu & TCM) and I believe in heart-centred health care and evidence-based practice.
My professional journey in the realm of acupuncture and Chinese medicine began with a deep-seated interest in holistic health and a commitment to providing integrative treatments. I have a passion for combining traditional wisdom with contemporary biomedical practices to promote whole-body health and wellness. I provide tailored care to address a wide range of health conditions, with a particular emphasis on women’s health and fertility.
As a nationally accredited practitioner and a registered member of the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA), my treatments are eligible for claim rebates with all health funds and private insurers.
A modern approach
During treatments I enjoy applying a combination of traditional and modern techniques and diagnostic methods to seek and address the root cause of disease; each treatment is specifically tailored to your own personal needs and health goals. I have a strong focus on patient education and believe healthcare should be informative, transparent and accessible.
My clinical practice is driven by a philosophy that values each individual as a whole, recognising that true wellness is achieved through a harmonious balance of body, mind, and spirit. My treatment approach ensures that my patients receive care that is not only grounded in traditional principles but also informed by the most current research, offering a comprehensive and effective path to health and healing.
My passion
With a special interest in Women’s health and fertility, I have completed further professional development beyond my five year tertiary degree in order to provide skilled fertility care. As a registered acupuncturist, I am equipped to work alongside your fertility specialist and consistently stay informed about the latest advancements in acupuncture and Chinese medicine in order to bring you the most clinically effective care. My areas of interest include:
Menstrual Health: menstrual irregularities, dysmenorrhea (painful periods), PCOS, endometriosis, adenomyosis & chronic pelvic pain
Fertility Support: Utilizing acupuncture and herbal therapies to enhance reproductive health, improve ovarian function, and support natural conception
IVF and ART (Assisted Reproductive Technologies): Supporting patients undergoing IVF and other ART procedures (such as ICSI and IUI)
Pregnancy and Postpartum Care: Personalised care throughout pregnancy and the postpartum period, focusing on managing pregnancy-related discomforts, preparing for labor, and supporting recovery after childbirth.
